Facebook for business works using two main marketing strategies, organic social and paid social.

To use Facebook marketing, start by creating a business page by logging in to your Facebook account, clicking the drop-down option in the upper right-hand corner of the screen, and select “Create a Page”. Businesses should then build out their business page and begin consistently generating content.
